- What this software does
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- This application converts between various units, generally
- SI and Imperial, but there are also some more specialised
- conversions, such as energy equivalents.
-
- When this application is run, by double clicking on it in a
- directory display, it's icon is installed on the iconbar.
-
- Clicking with SELECT on the iconbar icon opens the convert
- window. As a value is entered into one of the writable
- icons, the converted values will be continuously updated and
- displayed. A particular value can be cleared using Ctrl U
- (hold down ctrl and press U). Clicking MENU within the
- convert window leads to a choice of various classes of unit
- to convert, e.g. speed, length.
-
- In addition to simple unit conversions, it is also possible
- to calculate mean free paths, average velocities, and
- collision frequencies for gas molecules at various
- temperatures, pressures and molar mass.
-
- More extensive help is available when the application is
- running.
